High School Playbook

For many of us, we've been waiting a good number of years for tonight.

We've enjoyed years of youth football as Folsom Jr. Bulldogs, becoming a premier team, enjoy the sweet taste of success and winning championships along the way.  We endured a tough transition as freshman at Folsom High School and eventually found our way over the the brand new halls of Vista del Lago High School where Coach Chris Jones took over at the helm of the JV program.

Last season showed promise at the boys went 8-2 and were within a play or two of being undefeated.  It should be noted that the two losses were to varsity programs.

We've entrusted our boys to the care and coaching of Chris Jones and I believe that he is doing right by them.  As they begin varsity football in earnest, the lessons they learn over the next two years will transcend the lines on the field as they become men.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of "our boys" great success in this endeavor and understand that the scoreboard is not the sole reflection of your achievements but the friendships that you make, the bonds you forge and the lessons you take off the field are what make you winners.
