The Cougars of Del Campo Pounce Casa Roble at their home. The number 1 spot in the Capital League was up for grabs and looks like Del Campo took home the number one spot. Del Campo won 24 to nothing.

Thanksgiving is over, and the Monterey Trail Mustangs are back on the field to take on the Burbank Titans in the second round of the Sac-Joaquin Section Division One Playoffs. Drake Tofi gave the Mustangs an early lead in the first, surging thru Titans for a 7-yard TD run. Tofi rushed for a buck 69, adding to Monterey Trail’s rushing yards which ran for 325 yards.
In the second quarter, Mustang QB Michael Calvan launches it to #24 Evan Favors who makes the catch for a 66-yard TD reception. On the defensive side, Monterey Trail’s Lamin Wilson and Jim Meadows came up big with 5 sacks on the day, while defensive back Ethan “E” Clark picked two interceptions. Going into the half Monterey Trail would lead 15-0
Monterey Trail allowed Burbank to score 8 points in the third, while the Mustangs went scoreless. Monterey Trail looked to widen the gap between Burbank and found Michael Calvan in the fourth who rushed for a 25-yard TD sweeping left. With the clock ticking down Monterey Trail leading 22-8, Coach Ewing ran his favorite play the Victory Kneel Down. Mustangs fans erupted in pandamonium as Monterey Trail captured its second playoff win.
Monterey Trail’s next opponent will be No.8 Los Banos who upset top seeded Tracy. With the Tracy loss, Monterey Trail with play another game at the Mark Macres Stadium.

On a rainy and wet Friday night, the 11-0 Inderkum Tigers hosted the 7-4 Casa Roble Rams in the second round of the Sac-Joaquin D-III Playoffs. The Rams came into the meeting off of a come from behind victory over Manteca 35-28. Inderkum entered the game with momentum after a 47-7 blowout over Rodriguez.
The game was decided early, when Inderkum took a commanding 32-0 lead over Casa Roble. The Rams answered late in the second quarter with a QB Keeper by Justin Tann. The Tigers immediately regained control and marched down field to score with 18 seconds left to give them a 39-6 lead. They eventually won 60-6.
With the victory, the Tigers advance to the semi-finals to host Oakdale. The defending Sac Joaquin section champion, Casa Roble, will not repeat this season. They finished their season 7-5.
The Mariposa County Grizzlies and Capital Christian Cougars went head to head.
This game wad a defensive battle. Capital Christian Paul Roberson leaped for the huge interception.
Capital Christian takes this one over Mariposa. The final score is 14-0.
This one was all N.U. Miners quarterback Broughan Jantz. He tossed a 23-yard touchdown pass to Dan Pettinato for six points.
Then the Miners striked again. Drew Hoskin ran it in from 11 yards out.
Nevada Union beats Sheldon 41-7.

With the Granite Bay at Folsom game; Quarterback Dano Graves tosses to Tanner Trosin, who then throws it 25 yards to his older brother Tyler Trosin who makes the great catch and first down for the Folsom Bulldogs.

Summerville quarterback throws it to Jordan Sooter, the ball pops out of Sooters hands and right it to Central Catholic's Jack Killians hands and runs.
