For the Game of the Week, your votes were sent to Tracy, where the 8-and-3 Los Banos Tigers and 11-and-0 Tracy Bulldogs went head to head.

 This Grass Valley- Division 1 match-up features the Miners from Nevada Union and the Indians from Napa.

Nevada Union receives the punt, and Eric Neiderberger goes 54 yards into the end-zone.

Miners beat Napa 62-to-12.

Defensive linemen Jacon Tryon has 12 sacks and 74 total tackles on the year for the Lincoln Fighting Zebras. This year the Lincoln defense has only allowed an average of 10 points a game, a large reason for their 10 and 0 record.

The Sonora Wildcats host the Oakdale Mustangs for the KCRA 3 High School Playbook Game of the Week. 

It's a little cold, but the house is packed.  Rick Francis, Sonora Athletic Director, talks about the honor of one of the best places to watch a football game.

Sonora gets together to show off their spirit for the big game against Oakdale.  Both teams come into the contest 8-and-1 and are ready to finish a nearly perfect season.

Coach Moore is the varsity football coach at Oakmont. He has successfully led the Vikings to victory and has helped pick the team up when their spirits were down. This is Coach Moore's first year as head coach and it has been a great year with many ups and downs. Coach Moore inspires his players with his dedication and hard work and still is able to bring a fun element to the field.

In a game that was predicted to come down to the wire, it did.  The Rocklin-Del Oro rivalry was brewing Friday night and anywhere from 5,000 to 6,000 showed up.  Rocklin running back Jackson Cummings had two scores en route to the Thunder's 24-21 victory over visiting Del Oro, as Rocklin won their first outright league title.

With a minute remaining, Del Oro faced 4th and 10 at the Rocklin 17 yard line.  Del Oro quarterback Max Magleby heaved the ball into the endzone but wide receiver Freddy Cargile was unable to bring it in. 

Midway through the 4th quarter Cummings scored the go-ahead touchdown on an 8 yard scamper.

Facing a 17-7 halftime deficit, Del Oro's defense held strong and was able to generate a ground game as running back Bryce Pratt notched two scores of 11 and 2 yards.

Cummings scored on a 2 yard run in the second quarter and Rocklin quarterback Jimmy Laughrea scored on a 3 yard bootleg in the second quarter. 

Del Oro tightend Adrian Williams scored on a 65 yard screen pass during the 1st quarter.

Stagg doesn't plan to give up any ground to the Edison Vikings Friday night.

 A new rivalry between the Oak Ridge Trojans and Vista Del Lago Eagles is brewing.

The Trojans' Jason Allen took this oppertunity to show of his speed and skill in a stunning game between the two undefeated squads.

In this one, Eagles tried to hang in there, but the Trojans kept their winning streak alive by edging the Eagles by only one point.

Oak Ridge wins, 7-to-6 is the final score.
