With four returning starters and a new transfer student, Del Oro Boys Basketball hopes to make a trip back to Arco Arena for the D-III section title game. Junior Aaron Hendricks, along with seniors Spencer Butterfield, Nico Ruiz, and Jon Root, are all returning starters. Transfer student Remi Barry hopes to jion them in the starting lineup. The 6 foot 8 inch transfer from Florida will no doubt add some electrifying talent to a team with plenty of it.
Speed will be the name of the game for Del Oro. "Idealy, we'd like the game to be as fast paced as possible. We like to really get it up and down the court. We like to play man-to-man defense and we like to pressure people." In addition, Broyles hopes the team will be able to adapt to any style of play.
Games will begin late this month, and be sure to check out the Del Oro Invitational running December 10-12.
