Both the El Camino Eagles, and the Casa Roble Rams entered the game on October 23 3-3. El Camino got shut out by Del Campo 0-30 the week before. Casa Roble defeated Bella Vista after clutch field goals by Alex Jungsten. This game was considered to be a must win for both teams.
The Rams jumped out to an early 18-7 lead before the half. The second half was where everything came undone for El Camino. Rams Quarterback Justin Tann rushed for two goaline TD's to extend the lead 32-7. In the fourth quarter Rams Defensive End, Houston Wilfley, had the play of the game, as he returned a fumble 61 yards, and the easy six points.
This week El Camino looks to bounce back against Bella Vista, while Casa Roble faces Mira Loma on a neutral field Saturday(El Camino). Rams focus on containing ML's offense led by QB Alex Gomes-Coelho. Gomes-Coelho is averaging 211 yards passing.
